Why does the destroyer look to be the biggest? and the 303 style one is the carrier

They're all about the size of the Daedalus. The destroyer just has more weapons, so its slightly slower and has less defense than the powerful ships. The carrier has more room for fighter ships and less weapons.

well, well well looks good, i like it, but ähm shouldnt a battlecruiser be bigger than a destroyer, i think the only bad thing is the scale because in the navy i think carriers are the biggest ships but it looks good

The carrier I have is about the same size as the Daedalus, just stacked with cargo ports so it can fit three times as many fighters in them.

The destroyer is meant to be a ship, slightly bigger than the normal size, with lots of powerful guns. No real need to make them super huge when you have powerful weapons.

One thing I didn't understand about the naming scheme of the Tau'ri ships. Weren't Greek gods Goa'uld?

So why do they name their ships after their enemies?

To my knowledge the only ships seen in stargate so far are the Prometheus, Daedalus, Odyssey, Korelov, Apollo and the Phoenix/ General Hammond, and none of those were named after Goa'uld. The Korelov and Hammond were named after people.

Naming after Greek gods is a military thing i suppose.
